Free Spins - The free spins are ok. You can get 10, 20, or 50 free spins with wins tripled. What really matters here are the expanding wilds. You NEED those during free play (or during any play for that matter) to win big. I'm a big fan of free spins and love to see some extras during them. I do like the expanding wilds, but wish there was a bit more :)
Bonus Game - The bonus game is fun, actually. I rarely say that for a pick-em bonus round. The difference here is that they somewhat mask the pick-em portion with a little bit of interactivity. When the ships come into view, you have to shoot them until they are destroyed. Once they are destroyed, you collect the treasure. So - you see... It is a pickem game really :) But a little more fun.
Expanding Wild - During any play (not just free play), the 'first mate' can pop onto the 1st, 3rd, and 5th reel and expand to take up the full reel. This is your key to winnings on this slot.
Summary - Jolly Roger's Jackpot is quite the slot. 50 Paylines with an expanding wild is rather nice. Adding free spins to that helps out tremendously. Adding a bonus round on top, kicks it up a notch. While playing, you will need a bankroll.. don't go in blind hoping for a win - this slot takes time to produce the monster win. Takes time and plenty of spins. But - hit the free spins and the expanding wilds and you could see a nice win. It's a bit like Scary Rich in that respect.. long stretches of win-less spins and then a massive win as the payoff. Good luck!
